The Bottom Line – A Bass Players Take

Apex® Endorsing Artist, Jon Button is a highly sought LA Bass Player who is currently touring as part of the touring band for The Who.  Here is Jon’s take on Apex Bass Strings.  There are several attributes that I love about Apex strings. I love the tone. They have the right amount of the right frequencies for my taste. They have a slightly scooped mid-range so that they sound nice and fat, but not so much that you loose that mid-range presence. I also really love how responsive and dynamic they are. I can go from a nice round tone to a super bright tone really easily just by how I attack the strings. I also find them to be really comfortable and, dare I say, they seem to make things easier to play.
